Senior Marketing Specialist

Summary:

The Intracept® Procedure is being rapidly adopted, and this role will play a pivotal part in continuing and accelerating that adoption. The Sr. Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning, creating, and executing digital programs and communications that contribute to the growth and adoption of the Intracept Procedure.
The Sr. Marketing Specialist is responsible for the strategy, creation and execution of content across patient- and physician-facing websites, social media channels, email marketing, and other digital channels as needed to achieve business goals. The right candidate will recommend and implement strategies to increase awareness and engagement with targeted physician segments, integrating organic and paid campaigns with overall marketing programs and strategies.
The Sr. Marketing Specialist will collaborate across the marketing team and, when needed, cross-functionally (working especially well with a field sales team), while also executing work as an individual contributor. This role will also manage Relievant’s sales enablement platform, helping to organize and deploy content for the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and deploy content across digital channels, including email campaigns, social media channels, and websites; serve as a resource and expert on digital marketing strategies
  • Support and maintain Relievant website properties, ensuring content is accurate and updated, in support of commercial objectives
  • Employ SEO and other digital strategies to ensure patients and physicians can easily find and access existing digital channels (web, social)
  • Maintain analytics around digital effectiveness, and take responsibility for effectiveness – changing tactics or channels based upon related analysis
  • Routinely provide recommendations to optimize marketing activity, i.e. improving traffic, behavior, campaign response, quality of leads, to meet desired marketing goals
  • Establish related processes that standardize and streamline areas of responsibility; create lead nurturing and tracking processes
  • Enable field access to marketing materials, both through maintenance of an online system and working with vendors to complete printed material requests.
  • Maintain existing field and clinician-focused materials, analyzing their use and utility, ensuring they align with current strategy and the latest data and messaging
  • Coordinate the marketing-regulatory review process, ensuring materials are approved and released on a timely manner to the field and externally to physicians
  • Execute all responsibilities with a commercial mindset and with start-up urgency
  • Provide overall coordination and support of marketing communications initiatives, including working with cross-functional partners, agencies, printers and other third-party vendors.
  • Contribute to the Marketing team’s strategy and execution overall while being a strong team player
  • Support cross-functional partners and field sales team with various requests

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or a related field
  • Five years of marketing/communications experience in medical device or related industry
  • Excellent organizational and communications skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking abilities
  • Writing and content development experience
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, such as Mailchimp or Hubspot
  • Experience with content management systems, such as WordPress
  • Experience with social media platforms, such as Sprout Social or Hootsuite
  • Budget and vendor management experience required
  • Expertise in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a start-up environment (desired)
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

Our corporate office is in Bloomington, MN. We provide a flexible hybrid work model that includes days working from our corporate office and remotely.
